Dangerous is the eighth solo studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released November 21, 1991 by Epic Records. It marked his first full-length project without longtime collaborator Quincy Jones, signalling a new era of creative control and musical experimentation.

The album was co-produced by Jackson alongside Bill Bottrell, Bruce Swedien, and Teddy Riley, whose signature New Jack Swing beats underpin a blend of pop, R&B, industrial, funk, hip-hop, gospel, classical, and rock elements. Guest appearances include Heavy D, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, Slash, and Wreckx-n-Effect, adding diverse textures to the soundscape.
